Girl Cheese

Rob asks Ally for a bite of her sandwich and she says, "no, it's a Girl Cheese not a Boy Cheese."  All this time she's been thinking a Grill Cheese is a Girl Cheese. 

At the races

Here we are at our first Indy Car Race.  Jade draws on herself while we wait for a wreck to be cleared.  The kids had a fun time riding a bull and conquering the  Wipe Out "Big Ball" bounce house.  They also had their first Pork Burger. They said it was Yum!

Messy Times at Jethro's BBQ

We stopped in to try out one of Iowa's better known BBQ joints and we all agree this one is GREAT!  We especially lived their smoked wings in their own special BBQ sauce.  T wanted to know how messy he was on a scale of 1-10.  We agreed it was a 10!

Jade comes in 7th all around at State for level 3 gymnastics

She did such a great job.  We were staying at the Escobars b/c we had moved out of our house the day before.  Rob is moving everything to Iowa and she didn't sleep well.  (It was cold and as we were staying in their basement) We also came home from April Jackson's for a stamping class really late.  Her coaches came by to wish her well and to make sure she would be staying in gymnastics.  They have us hugs and told her they would really miss her.  Renee (her coach who is also a judge) said if she hadn't caught her foot on the bar routine she would have scored a 9.7.  Wow!!
