Aunt Ky & Uncle Jeff get home

We went to the airport and picked up Kylene and Jeff around 1pm. Then we got an ice cream at Dairy Queen. Kylene has been dying for good ice cream!! Yeah for us! We took them to her apartment and they gave Jade and T their prizes. We also got to see all their pictures and hear about their trip.

3/25/07

The kids both had fevers, which was very inconvenient, because this was the week I was watching Vilate and Robert had volunteered for the Sr. Nursery. Rob had to find a substitute and stayed home with the kids while I went to church.
When I got home we went to Grandma & Pa Pa's. Uncle Ryan & Aunt Jefra were there. We had a good visit and went home @ 9pm. T was up throughout the night (11pm, 1am, 3am, 5am, 6am). He finally slept with us.

Family Day

We went to Lake Travis with Craig and his kids. They had lots of fun running around in the sand. We didn't bring towels or suits (it's still cold), so we took their clothes off to keep them dry for the ride back home. It was a good thing, too! They were glad to have the dry clothes while we drove fast!!

NeNee's Packages

We got to open Nenee's packages today! T was really excited to get his bunny! They had a good time going through their boxes, and they even took turns showing each other what they got.

Friday

Today we goofed around the house until 3:00. We played on the computers mostly, but we did watch "Free Willy" and the kids loved it!! They really like playing Nick Jr. and Playhouse Disney games. They are really good at making robots with Widget, matching shapes for Mickey, and counting money for Blue.

At 3:00 we headed to the skate park to play with Ms. Donna and the kids. Jade had a great time on the playground being a horse. T watched the boys skate and later tried running up the ramp as if he was on a skatboard. Willie is awesome on his skateboard! He had to take it easy today because of an arm injury.

Rainy Day

While it rained outside, we pulled out all our games and puzzles; and played inside. We put together a large floor puzzle of Thomas the Train. We wacked a mole and fed some very hungry hippos. T's hippo ate the most.
We also played a card game called, "Mixies". It uses three cards to complete a truck's front, middle, and back. We also played T's favorite Super Heroes matching game. It was lots of fun! In this picture Jade's worried T's going to wake up Daddy!!! (T's worried he won't)

At the Playground

Jade, T and Clay played at the playground today. They had a good time swinging on a bar, while T spent his time playing with an action figure. They all really liked this slide.

Kylene & Jeff's Wedding

Kylene and Jeff were married at the San Antonio Temple. It was a beautiful day and the flowers were spectacular. Their reception was at the DoubleTree Hotel. In the courtyard area there were several fountains. Perfect for pictures.

Jade took some fantastic pictures at the Temple. She really has a unique view because of her height. She can get in there and get the pictures no one else can! AND because of her age, everyone is willing to humor her. They'll pose for her and she gets some great candid shot. She's so small, she hard to notice. Calling Nenee

Jade is really missing her Nenee. She is asking to go see her. Then T reminds her, "She's bar away, Jade. Nenee's bar away." We talked to Nenee on Skype, and Nenee showed Jade the Easter dress she got her. Jade was excited about the matching purse!

Comedy Night

Thursday nights are our TV night. Uncle Ryan comes over, we put the kids to bed and watch NBC. Occasionally Ryan gets there before the kids go to bed, and they love playing with him. He brought them a Socccer Snoopy tonight. They really like it. Jade shared her OREO cereal with him while they watched "Piglet's Big Movie". Ryans new favorite!! He'd occasional come into the office to check the BYU / Xavier basketball game. Rob got home around 8:30 and the kids went to bed!!! YEAH, now for the laughs!!!!!

Sunday Afternoon

This is how Robert and Jade spent the afternoon after church. Before they fell asleep, Jade called Grandma and told her we were coming over to visit. After 7, Grandma calls to see when we are coming. I got these two sleepy heads up and off we went to Grandma & Pa Pa's.
Aunt Kristina, Uncle Rick, Aunt Jefra & Uncle Ryan were there. We watched "Stranger Than Fiction" with Will Ferrell. The girls really liked it, but the boys- not so much!

Playing Superhero!

If you push this button here, out come the wings!! Clay gave T his buzzlightyear, Spiderman, and Superman pj's. Now T has traded in his towel for his Superhero pajamas! He'll probably pass out from heat stroke, he went from naked to long sleeves!

Jade & Clay had a great time stacking blocks with Josh when he got home from school. He said he's really glad Spring Break is tomorrow. His family is going to San Antonio to the Alamo and the River Walk. They will be moving to Indiana at the end of next month. It's 17 degrees there. (Hope you're enjoying the snow Mom!)

Ky's Bridal Shower

Do you know what gift goes for each anniversary? Me either! I totally lost at that game. Then we played a really fun trivia game about how well we knew the bride and groom. We were asked questions like: Where they were born, how tall they were, where they met, and where he proposed. We played gift bingo while Ky opened her gifts, and Kristina made her a bridal shower veil from the wrapping.

Kissing the Kids

We had fun playing around while Aunt Ky was here. JT is such a scutch! He is picking his nose in one of the pictures. He knows he is mischevious- You can even see it in his smile!

Aunt Ky's Day Off

Aunt Kylene had a day off today, she had lots to do, but we have really been missing her. She's been busy getting ready for the wedding. The third picture is Jade's reaction to the spider I was chasing down with a shoe!

Jade watched Rob drawing a picture of a face on her Magna Doodle the other day while I went to a church meeting. She wanted a turn and got upset with Robert for taking a picture of her drawing before she got to put the eyeglasses on. Here's her finished product: She said this is Aunt Kylene.
