This was first week for School!!
Jade thought her first week of school was "Great and this I think is weird. I played then did some work stuff then eat lunch. I like my teacher. She's beautiful." She's a social butterfly, much different from her shy self when she was younger. She even has teachers in other grades that she "socializes" with!
T thoughts: "I thought it was great. We don't eat lunch for a long long time, I think I'm starving and then I'm gonna throw up. But I still think it's really cool that we can go to school and learn."
T had a rough first day of school because Bev made him a cheese sandwich for "snack". He eats them often for snacks at home and he's a big eater. His teacher approached him while eating it and said, "T, you're eating your lunch not your snack!" T replied "No, this is my snack." The class began to laugh which embarrassed him, so he ran in a corner and hid. Another male teacher had to console him before he returned to the class area. He blamed Bev for this terrible ordeal. He came home and asked, "Why did you make me a cheese sandwich for a snack?" She said, "Because you wanted it." T replied, "That was rude."
T also had two football practices this week. Once was indoors because of rain. They moved T to offensive guard because he couldn't remember the plays as a running back. (Too bad cuz he's the fastest kid on the team) However, he's taken to his new role quite well. In their first scrimmage on Saturday, he "pancake blocked" the defensive player on NEARLY every play! (A pancake block is when you knock the defender to the ground, then lay on top of them so they can't get up) He also had a few assisted tackles on defense and 1 SOLO tackle which got him really pumped up. REALLY pumped...he started screaming and pumping both fists in the air at the same time...looked like NFL taunting but it was fun to watch. At one point in the huddle the Head Coach said, "You guys need to play like T. He plays hard every play." Needless to say that made his day!
Ally is 6 months old now and still taking her time to develop which we don't mind. It's as if she is just satisfied being a baby. She just now has started to crawl, but that's an over-exaggeration of what she does. She mostly just figures out ways to roll around the room. She's still the happiest baby we've ever been around. She lights up when she sees her daddy and she coos a lot and is quick to laugh. Oh, and she likes to squeak and squeal.
Beverly had her 3rd interview to start at Lifetime Fitness scheduled and rescheduled twice this week and it still got pushed off till Wednesday. Hopefully, we'll know soon whether she'll get the job. She's having some conflicting feelings about going back to work and leaving the perfect baby, but we have faith that the Lord will deliver and make things right. She's already pumping and storing up milk to get ready for the transition.
Robert had two of the actors from the "Jersey Boys" broadway play in studio for an interview this week. Bev and Robert went to see the show last weekend so he was well-prepared for the interview! He got his mom on the segment after the interview to talk about Jersey. Bev thought it was cute that when he was letting her go he said, "Love you mom" He has also been doing a 3 hour Saturday show for a couple of months now and this week may have been the last week he'll be doing it so he allowed a co-worker to do the show with him to provide them with "air-time" opportunity.

BLUE
We've been having so much fun watching Blue this week. The kids love Blue sleeping with them. Blue likes to wake Jade up b/c Jade likes to take Blue for walks. T loves throwing the ball for her and they both enjoy feeding her her food as if it were treats.
Football Season
T is so excited to finally be playing football. The last day of school he was asking when football was gonna start. His first practice was Monday and he did really well. He is one of the fastest runners on the team. His coach called him a "Speedster".
Rob shaved his head, because it hurt him to put on his helmet. Rob let him have a Mohawk. He's so cute, no matter what you do to him :)
